  1. Emily Dickinson writes very depressing poems. She writes a lot about herself and death. It's not always enjoyable to read. The first line in all of her poems are the same as the titles of her poems. Robert Frost is more enjoyable to read and nothing like Emily Dickinson. He doesn't write about depressing and upsetting things.

  2. Emily Dickinsons poetry talks about a broken heart and death for most of her poems. She uses slants and exact rhymes, she also uses punctuation to express how she feels in them . In Robert Frosts poems he tells more of a story and or a detailed description of what he sees. But all of the poetry he writes involves nature in some way.

  3. Emily Dickinson is a very difficult poet to understand. She uses indirect phrasing to get her point across. Which, is obviously difficult for anyone else to understand. She also always talks about death. Robert Frost is semi-direct in what he talks about. He talks about a wide variety of things from nature to love.

  4. Emily Dickinsons poems are kind of dpresseing. She's always talking about death. There may be a few out there that are different. Robert Frsot has poems about seeing the other side of life. Also he uses nature to help them along, like fire and ice. Both poets are different in there own ways.

  5. Emily Dickinson often writes about heartbreak, death, etc. She isn't a very happy writer, as most of her poems rarely have a happy meaning or ending to it. Robert Frost is a writer of nature, often going into vast detail within his writings.

  6. Emily Dickinson's poetry mostly talk about death, with heartbreak in some of them. In her style of poetry, she uses both styles of rhyming, slant and exact. She also uses short choppy sentences and punctuation like exclamation points to express her emotions in it. Robert Frost's style of poetry is more a story than anything. He paints a picture through the stories he writes, either good or bad, and seem to involve nature somehow...

  8. Emily Dickinsons poetry is deifferent. Its sad, usually about death, and hard to understand. She uses slants and exact rhymes. She never usually writes about what she actually menas, its always deeper then it seems. Majority of her poems have something to do with her background since she wrote alot in a diray. Her first line in a poem is usually her title. Robert Frost isnt as depressing. He likes nature more and usually includes his love of it in his poetry. They might not need me; but they might. "They might not need me; but they might. I'll let my head be just in sight; a smile as small as mine might be precisely their necessity."(Emily Dickinson)

  9. Emily Dickinson's poems are usually depressing. She focuses on death and sadness. She also reflects her personal life in her writing, mainly focusing on her background. Her poetry is not straightforward and it is sometimes difficult to understand because of the deeper meaning behind her words. Heartbreak is usually present in everything she writes. Robert Frost focuses on nature and human connections to it, but we haven't gotten to read his stuff yet.

  11. Dickinson is very difficult to understand in her poetry. She uses end rhymes, slant rhymes, and never actually writes about what she means. All of her poems come out of her diary, so all these poems are based on sort of life experience that Dickinson went through. All of her poem's titles are what the first line says. Dickinson is big on using exclamation points to express her excitement or how angry she is.

She usually writes about death, and dark and gloomy things. Also, Dickinson titles all of her poems with the first line of the first stanza. 18. Emily Dickinson's poems revolve around experiences that she has had in her life. Usually they are sad experiences with heartbreak, death, and how souls feel about society. Robert Frost's poems are more cheerful than Dickinson's poems, his have less gloom and more warmth, kind of ironic to his name. Frost's poems do include nature, which is a theme that many poets like to use, but he uses it in a way to make give cheer or warmth.

  21. The poetry of Emily Dickinson is unique. It is unique in the sense that it takes depressing to an entirely new level. With most poetry, death is a depressing topic. Death is considered cheerful with her poems. Robert Frost's poems have different themes each time. He is not consistently depressing or consistently cheerful. He uses a rhyme pattern in each poem which interests me more than poems without exact rhymes.

  23. Emily Dickinson is extremely difficult to understand. When she writes she doesn't always say what she means. Her poems are very good they are just so hard to understand. Robert Frost on the other hand is very different. His poems are very nature centered. However the key difference between the two poets is that Dickinson writes poetry that is emotional, and Robert Frost writes things that aren't all that sad.
